Jack Cheese Salsa Chicken

Simple cheesy chicken. Super delicious and super quick.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts (boneless, skinless) - 2 lbs
  • Avocado oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Taco seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Salsa (you can use drained pico de gallo) - 12 oz
  • Shredded monterrey jack cheese - 1 ½ cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Add the chicken to your cast iron Dutch oven.
  3. Drizzle the oil on top and sprinkle over with the taco seasoning.
  4. Place the salsa on top and sprinkle the cheese over it.
  5. Place in the oven and bake for about 40 minutes, until the cheese becomes bubbly.
  6. Add the toppings and serve.
