Ingredients

  • 1⁄4 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup) cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 6 large kalamata olives, pitted
  • 12 fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. In a small food processor, process all ingredients except basil until they form a smooth cream, about 30 seconds.
  2. Form mixture into 6 balls with the aid of a spoon.
  3. Place 1 basil leaf on top and bottom of each ball and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 3 days.
