Sauerkraut Balls

Like the sauerkraut balls at Hey Hey. Super good. Slam them all.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz full fat cream cheese
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 pound pork, turkey or chicken breakfast sausage
  • 1⁄2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1⁄2 cup almond flour

Instructions

  1. Drain the sauerkraut well in a colander.
  2. In a large skillet, over Medium-High heat, cook the sausage until browned and cooked through, 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add cream cheese and drained sauerkraut to the pan and mix well to combine.
  4. Turn off heat and add almond flour and parmesan.
  5. Cover a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Use ice cream scoop and place balls on cookie sheet.
  7. Add sauerkraut balls to the basket of the air fryer
  8. Fry for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
